The Northwestern Medicine Department of Urology provides no-cost continuing medical education programs for urology professionals.
Urology is an ever-changing field, so it is imperative that practicing urologists stay current on assessing, diagnosing and treating urologic conditions. In cooperation with the Feinberg Office of Continuing Medical Education, the Northwestern Medicine Department of Urology provides no-cost continuing medical education (CME) programs for urology professionals.
Our Advancements and Breakthroughs in Urology CME courses help physicians stay current on all the recent advances in urology while earning CME credits. Led by Amy Krambeck, MD, chief of Endourology and Stone Disease in the Feinberg Department of Urology, this yearlong series provides urologists and other healthcare professionals with cutting-edge courses that teach evidence-based practices and identify new and emerging healthcare needs and opportunities. Courses focus on diagnosing, managing and treating urologic conditions with lectures from experts in andrology, endourology and genitourinary reconstruction. Courses will include complex case discussion, journal club, board review lectures and urodynamic studies review.
Join leaders in urology, medical oncology, pathology and radiology for a monthly didactic lecture series on critical topics and advances in genitourinary oncology. Hosted by the Polsky Urologic Cancer Institute, this multidisciplinary Urologic Oncology Course is designed to bringing together world class experts in urologic oncology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology. The Polsky Urologic Cancer Institute promotes excellence in patient care and safety through accredited education activities based on up-to-date, clinically relevant, scientifically rigorous, evidence-based medical information. The series is led by the institute's clinical director, Ashley Ross, MD, PhD, a nationally recognized expert in prostate cancer.
With participants from around the world, leaders in urology, medical oncology, pathology and radiology lectures focus on developments and innovations in urologic cancer care. Previous topics include optimization of prostate biopsy, robotic reconstruction of complications in urologic oncology, and a review of practice changing articles in bladder cancer.
