Rana R. McKay, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist who specializes in treating people with genitourinary (urologic) cancers, including bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Dr. Bragg attended Birmingham-Southern College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1984. He received his medical education at the University Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. Following graduation from medical school he completed two years of general surgery residency and three years of urological residency at the UAB Hospital. He joined Eastern Urology Associates in 1993.
Besides being a partner of Urology Centers of Alabama, Dr. Bragg has been the president of the Birmingham Urology Club, chairman of the Department of Surgery at St. Vincent’s East, and a member of the Birmingham Surgical Society.
Dr. Bragg is certified in urology by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the Jefferson County Medical Society, and the Birmingham Urology Club. He is a member of the medical staff at St. Vincent’s East, Brookwood Medical Center and Trinity Medical Center. Dr. Bragg is from Birmingham, Alabama.
