Video Transcript:

You are participating in the BCAN Think Tank discussion “Beyond bladder preservation: Radiotherapy across the spectrum of bladder cancer treatment.” What points do you plan to present during this talk?

I'm excited about the breakout session this year because this is a place where all the bladder cancer experts and anybody who cares about bladder cancer patients are present. Our session this year is focusing on radiation across all the spectrums, so something more than our comfort zone or what the standard of care is. Our hope is that this session would be interactive, and we would like to hit on the role of radiation, not only in the muscle-invasive bladder cancer space, but look at areas like non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer or oligometastatic as well as node positive. And we hope to discuss some of the ongoing research, such as SWOG/NRG 1806, as well as some of the potential future clinical trials that could be developed. This session will be co-chaired by myself as well as Leslie Ballas, MD. And then we have really exciting speakers present for this meeting: Scott Delacroix, MD, as well as Parminder Singh, MD, and Brian Bauman, MD, will all share their experiences.
