Study evaluates cystoscopy-based ureteral stent removal

In a cohort of nearly 30,000 patients, more than half had cystoscopy-based stent removal within 6 months post ureteroscopy, investigators reported.

In this video, Sirikan Rojanasarot, PhD, discusses the background and key findings of the Urology Practice study, “The Economic Burden of Cystoscopy-Based Ureteral Stent Removal in the United States: An Analysis of Nearly 30,000 Patients.” Rojanasarot is a principal health economist at Boston Scientific.
