Urologist Alan W. Partin, MD, PhD, died at the age of 62 on March 28, 2023. Dr. Partin served as director of the Brady Urological Institute at Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as urologist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins Medicine.1
Dr. Partin is known for having created the Partin Tables, “a computer model that utilizes mathematical formulas to help prostate cancer patients get accurate estimates for the success of treatment.”2
To pay tribute to Dr. Partin, Urology Times® reached out to several urologists who knew and worked with and/or for Dr. Partin during his long and distinguished career:
