Urology device maker launches new business unit

ACMI Corp. said it has created a Gynecology and Surgical Specialties business unit to concentrate on growth opportunities in women's health and other key surgical specialties. The new business unit will focus on endoscopy and minimally invasive procedures where ACMI has strong clinical and technological expertise, such as gynecology, laparoscopy, and anesthesia.

"We want to build as strong a brand name in gynecology and key surgical specialities as we currently have in urology," said Boris Levin, vice president and general manager of the new business unit.
