Wisconsin hospital names new program director of urology

Michael Ernst Mitchell, MD, has joined the staff of the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin as program director of urology.

Michael Ernst Mitchell, MD, has joined the staff of the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin as program director of urology. Dr. Mitchell, a pediatric urologist, also has been appointed to the Medical College of Wisconsin faculty as professor of urology.

Dr. Mitchell most recently was chief of pediatric urology at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center and professor of urology at the University of Washington, both in Seattle. He has served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School, Boston, and James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. He completed a residency in urology and a fellowship in pediatric urology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
