- Urinary incontinence:0.1% (aqua ablation) vs up to 7%+ (TURP)
- Blood transfusion rate:0.1% (aqua ablation), lower than TURP
- Ejaculation preservation:89%-90% (aqua ablation) vs ~75% (TURP)
- Erectile dysfunction rate:0% for aqua ablation
Durability:
- Retreatment rate (5 years):
- TURP: ~12%
- Aqua ablation: ~6% (half of TURP’s rate)
